You’re using your friends timeline, which doesn’t work with this pipe since it requires authentication. Change your link to say user instead of friends and you’ll no longer get an error message, but you may or may not get any data returned depending on how stable twitter is feeling at that moment. I tried creating a yahoo pipe from my twitter RSS, but it gives me the error message

Nothing that I know of, especially since I don’t use Google Reader. Does it support authenticated feeds?

PS: Remember to be nice to your friends and don’t put their feeds somewhere indexable!

Hello Adora, I’d like to find a better way to track my friends twitts and as Twitter RSS feed do not show twitts from private mode friends I’m looking for a PHP/WordPress/Pipes/GReader solution to produce a RSS feed readable in GReader showing full archive (including ‘private’) of twitts so I never miss twitts again. Any idea ?

Wow, that’s pretty sweet. Even for a technomoron like myself, I think it’s actually decipherable. I assume I just run the pipe customized to my specifics, then have Tumblr import it as an RSS feed (text-only, no titles)? That is awesome. Thank you! And yeah, I’ll totally take you up on the offer for a Pipes tutorial sometime. I know how powerful it is, and wish I could get my arms around it.
