Of course I’m being facetious. I met Greg at the TechCrunch party last week and told him about what happened. He’s very kindly forwarded on my request to the Live team, but his initial reply on facebook was so hilarious that I asked him if it was ok to post it publicly. I figured it would be pretty obvious that Yahoo isn’t quite THAT evil, but I guess others have a more fluid opinion. =]

I certainly want to raise some issues here, but I don’t want to cause a big stink with Yahoo. I see them becoming an increasingly important repository for social capital, which makes it even more critical to know exactly what rules they want us to play by.

This…is a joke, right? I mean, the Director of Market Strategy and Business Development didn’t *actually* say that to/about you, did he? Then again, maybe it’s good that he did. If someone with such obvious mental deficiencies can rise to Director level at a company like Yahoo, imagine what heights I can achieve.

Come to think of it, what does “tortuous and defamatory to the highest degree” even mean?
